Supreme Court plans delayed

Lord Falconer, the lord chancellor, said yesterday that there would be a further delay in adapting Middlesex Guildhall on Parliament Square for the occupation by the Supreme Court. He said: “We plan to open the supreme court in October 2009. This reflects the time likely to be needed to deliver the current plans”
